Working title films.

Working title films is a British film company based in London. The company was founded in 1983 by Tim Bevan and Sarah Radclyffe.  Some of the most popular films they have made include Shaun of the Dead, Ali G in da House, Bridget Jones, Johnny English and Notting Hill. Some of Britain's most well known actors star in many of these films including Rowan Atkinson, Simon Pegg, Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts.
They started off as a very small company but their recent films Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Senna received 14 Bafta nominations between them. The films Paul and Atonement have also received award nominations. Four Weddings and a Funeral released in 1994 helped gather a lot of attention of working title films as it was one of their early hits grossing 244 million dollars at the box office.

Defintions

The Hyperdermic Needle Model
This is a model of communications, sometimes reffered to as the "magic bullet" perspective is the idea that the message sent is fully received by the receiver. The hypodermic needle theory meant that mass media had a direct, immediate and powerful effect on their audiences. It was involved with the fast rise in televison an radio in the the 1940's and 50's and was also used in properganda duying world war II. People received 100% of what they were meant to receive.

Synergy
When two things are combined so that the total force is greater. The relationship between two products of media that improve the exposure of each other. I suppose this could be used as a form of advertising on things like small blogs if you put a link to someone elses work or blog.
